Medicine, Science and Education charges KZT 15,000 per article for editorial production and publication. The fee is payable only after the article has been accepted for publication.
1. Payment Terms
There are no fees for manuscript submission or external peer review.
The fee, included services, tax conditions, and payment procedure are published on the website before manuscript submission. Changes to the fee are approved through a separate formal act of the publisher.
For manuscripts already submitted, the fee applicable on the submission date remains in effect unless the author agrees otherwise.
2. Independence of Editorial Decisions
Payment does not influence reviewer selection, scientific conclusions, or the decision to accept an article.
Hidden charges, mandatory use of intermediary editorial services, and guarantees of acceptance are prohibited. Commercial offers are communicated separately from scientific decisions.
Reviewers and the editor responsible for the decision are not informed of the author’s financial circumstances. Additional payments for a favorable decision or preferential placement in the publication queue are not permitted.
3. Refunds
If an article is not published through the fault of the editorial team, or if the authors withdraw the manuscript before first publication, the paid publication fee is refunded in full within 30 calendar days of submission of a formal refund request.
Refunds after publication are governed by the agreement and applicable law, taking the circumstances into account.
Editorial corrections are made free of charge and are not delayed by financial disputes.
4. Journal Funding
The journal is funded by the publisher and may receive lawful grants, subsidies, and article processing payments. Revenue sources and relationships with sponsors are disclosed on the website.
Financial arrangements do not determine scientific decisions. Published materials remain freely accessible to readers.
